These pieces are various works inspired by the world of Guerrilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn & Horizon Forbidden West.
I'm not usually a "sci fi person" but the thought and care taken over the in depth world building, and flipping of tropes - along with a striking protagonist - really captured me.
 
This first set of images are from sketches dated from after I had played Zero Dawn, but before Forbidden West was announced, messing with the potential animal forms GAIA could use to create machines. These sketches were lost for a few years during a move, and rediscovered 6 months before Forbidden West's release, and coloured in the months since when I could grab the time.
